My name is Marisha and I am the proud owner of Big Paw Walks. As a cane corso owner myself, I am pleased to be what may be the first dog walker who specialises in walking large breed dogs. 

Why did I start my business? As an owner of a large breed, I struggled to find a dog walker who was confident to walk my 52kg girl, and who I felt could handle her in an emergency. This is when I decided to take it upon myself to change that for other owners who may feel the same. 

A bit about me… My cane corso, Skye, and I are volunteers for therapy dogs nationwide and we visit many establishments such as schools, prisons, mental health institutions, and care homes. She is without a doubt the centre of my universe. I take pride in how well socialised, calm, and gentle she is. I also studied animal management back when I was at college and got myself a level 3 diploma in animal management, I always knew I was destined to work with animals! 

I have previous experience as a dog walker and pet sitter working for another company, and have grown up around large breed dogs since I was a small child. I am confident in handling larger dogs, and have no doubt they give the best kisses!

Skye is registered with ICCGB, a charity that promotes, protects and preserves the Cane Corso breed.
